Mrs. Arnold R. Bartell, 44, Minot resident for many years, died Saturday afternoon in a Minot hospital to which she had been admitted April 5. Death was attributed to a brain abscess.
Services were held there on Tuesday and the body was shipped here for burial.
Mrs. Bartell was the wife of a Great Northern railroad conductor, and had lived intermittently in Minot since her marriage there July 28, 1921. She also lived for a time at Williston. She was born in Minnesota.
Surviving besides her husband are her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Kollarth of Whitetail, Montana, three sisters, Mrs. Helen Glick of Harvey and Mrs. Ed Marks and Mrs. P. F. Vick both of St. Paul and a brother, Albert Kollath of St. Paul.
