He lived in the Lewiston-Clarkston valley for the rest of his life. Oscar worked in a bakery owned by the Miller’s at 848 Main St. in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho. Then on 11 Oct 1923 after having worked for them for a little over a year the Allen’s bought the bakery. He lived in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho on 05 Apr 1930. The Allen Bakery was sold on 03 Aug 1937 in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho after 13 y 9 m 23 d where they churned out many a wedding cakes (Viola frosted many, many) and breads (Oscar baked the best rolls). He lived in West Orchards, Nez Perce, Idaho on 03 Apr 1940. He lived in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho in 1942. He moved on 01 Aug 1944 to Clarkston, Asotin, Washington his last home. Whitesel, Harvey Spears, Ray Allen and Steve Allen.
