Family and friends may gather at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls after 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, until the Mass of Christian Burial at noon, for Bernard Delveaux, 82, of Oconto Falls. Fr. Patrick Beno is officiating and burial will be in St. Anthony Church Cemetery. Jones Funeral Service, Oconto Falls is serving the family. He died Tuesday morning, April 1, at his home.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Viola Beauleau) Delveaux was born Sept. 23, 1925, in Oconto Falls. He grew up and attended public schools there.

A member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls, he married the former Evelyn Gallas there on Jan. 28, 1950. A life long resident of Oconto Falls, he was employed at Scott Paper Co. for 38 years and was also a school bus driver for 21 years.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of 58 years; seven children, Sandee (Mike) Herrmann, Kathy (Jim) Thielke, Richard (friend, Bonnie) Delveaux, Bernie, jr.(Cathy) Delveaux, Pamela (Mark) Valitchka, David Delveaux and Sue (friend, Steve) Delveaux; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Galen (Kathy) Delvaux and Richard (Mary) Delvaux and three sisters, Lorraine Dawursk, Beatrice (Edwin) Gusick and Joyce Ertel.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Delveaux; two sisters, Mavis Weed and Arvella Trepanier; three grandchildren, Shawn and Kim Winans and Joshua Valitchka and a great-grandchild, Justice Delveaux.
