Georgia Rudd Christensen, 81, of Provo, Utah, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 06, 2015. Georgia was born July 22, 1933, in Salt Lake City to Ruben Bernard and Alice Draper Rudd. She married Kay Berry Christensen on April 20, 1957, in Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kay passed away in 1991.
Georgia grew up Orem and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. She worked for over 20 years as a Teller at UCCU. In her later years she enjoyed her time spent at the Orem Seniors Center. More than anything, Georgia loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed all family time together.
She is survived by her four children: Kyle (Tammy) Christensen, Orem; Mark (Jan) Christensen, Elk Ridge; Kaylene (Coleman) Barney, Sandy; Kendall (Mindy) Christensen, Cedar Hills; daughter-in-law, Sharlene Christensen, Lehi; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lloyd Christensen; grandson, Ryan Christensen; and two siblings: Evelyn Newell and Bernard Rudd.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove West Stake, Grove Second Ward Chapel, 2433 West 450 South, Pleasant Grove . Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday evening from 6:30-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, Provo.
