Samuel's life journey stop on earth in 1915. He had travel westward with his parents. He had seen the affects of the Civil War first hand.
Sam met the young lady, name Mary E. Davis whom he would marry. They would travel northward with their family with hopes of a better life and finally settle down in the area of Love county, Oklahoma.

The child, Oscar Willingham, whom died young, burial location not known. Notice the 1910 Census stated 15 children and 11 living. So with that stated on the census four children had died prior to the census.
