Earl Richard Ramsey, 79, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015. He was retired from Corning Glass and LCM in Roanoke.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Letcher Hobert and Nannie Belle Pack Ramsey, his wife, Hazel Marie Ramsey, two children, Caroline and Richard Lee Ramsey, and brothers, Jim, Seibert and Jeff Ramsey.
Survivors include four daughters, Teresa Gray and Tammy (Bobby) Ramsey, both of Dublin, Beth (Rick) Gordon of Belspring, and Julie (Larry) Ferguson of Kingsport, TN; brothers, Ronald (Marion) Ramsey of Columbus. OH, and Leon (Ann) Ramsey of Churubusco, IN; sister, Ruth Thomas of Forest Hill, WVa; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Max Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Ferguson and Rev. Mike Coleman officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the church.
Another funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Roles Chapel Baptist Church in Forest Hill, WVa. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Volunteer Seedline Publications, PO Box 3140, Blountville, TN 37617 or PELOTONIA, 351 W.
