Bettye Raymer

PLAINVIEW — Services for Bettye Jo Raymer, 69, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Ninth and Columbia Street Church of Christ with Colquitt Nash officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wood-Dunning Funeral Home of Plainview.

She died Friday, May 11, 2001.

She was born April 20, 1932, in Plainview, where she married Robert Dean "Bob" Raymer on July 10, 1949. He died April 13, 1996. She worked as a licensed vocational nurse for the Medical Center Hospital and Clinic for many years. She was a member of Ninth and Columbia Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Carol McGee of Plainview; a son, Joe Dean of New Mexico; a brother, Darrell Perkins of Lubbock; a sister, Peggy Breland of Paris, Texas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
