VICY FRASHER BROOKS OSBURN, 80, of East Lynn, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Vicy was born March 8, 1929 in Henlawson, W.Va. , to the late Galley and Nancy Watts Frasher. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Earnie Brooks; a son, Sampson Brooks; two grandsons, Robert Mitchell Dyer and Robert Dale Brooks, one great-grandchild, three sisters, Mary Ross, Maxine Riddle, and Ruth Brooks, three brothers, Wilburn Frasher, Lonnie Frasher, and Brady Frasher, and her second husband, Fisher Osburn.

Vicy was a long time member of Wolf Pen Church of Christ. She dedicated her life to providing loving care for her family and home.

Left behind to cherish her memory include one sister,five daughters, 24 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the wonderful caring Hospice nurses who provided excellent care for their loved one.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at her residence in East Lynn. Burial followed in the Brooks Family Cemetery, East Lynn. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home provided administrative services.
