PERRY, DWAYNE, "BUTCH", 55 - of Mays Landing, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 doing what he truly loved the most - professional painting. "Butch" was born March 13, 1951, in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Joshua and Fannie Perry (later married Mr. Ezell Burch). He graduated from High School in 1969 in Farmerville, Louisiana, and later "Butch" attended the Southern University prior to deciding to start an early career as a professional painter in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He married Carolyn Ann Adams in 1976. Butch and Carolyn relocated to Pleasantville in 1987, where he continued his career with the Painters District Council #711 in Galloway Township. He took great pride in his work and he enjoyed his hobby of collecting exotic antique cars. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Carolyn of Mays Landing; his two sons' Dynell of Terra Haute, IN and Spencer of Mays Landing; two daughters' Dwanica and Issis, both of Mays Landing; his sister, Nora Lee Rivers - Duff of Strong, AR; his eight brothers' Jimmy Perry of Marion, LA, Tracy Perry, Edgar Burch and John Burch, all of Tulsa, OK., Tony Burch of Huttig, AR., Carlos Perry of Memphis, TN, Joshua Perry of Madison, AL and Donald Perry of Los Angeles, CA as well as his grandson, De'Juan Palmer. He leaves to mourn and to cherish his fond memories a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, May 21, 2006 form 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in the Faith Baptist Church, 829 Tilton Road in Pleasantville, where a Home Going Service, celebrating Dwayne's life, will follow at 6:00 pm, with the Reverend Pastor Milton L. Hendricks officiating. Interment will take place in the Concord Cemetery in Marion, Louisiana, on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
