DEATH CLAIMS MRS. THOMPSON IN MONTGOMERY
Mrs. Belle Combs Thompson, 73, of Mt. Sterling died Monday at the Mary Chiles Hospital there after a short illness. She was a member of the Church of God and was the widow of the late Joseph Thompson.
A native of Wolfe County, she was a daughter of the late A.T. and Pocohontus Duff Combs.
She is survived by two sons, Albert L. Thompson of Montgomery County and Lt. Col Joseph C. Thompson Tavares, Fla., and one grandson, Charles W. Thompson of Montgomery County.
Funeral was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Campton Church of God by Rev. Walter Strong. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery here under the direction of Eastin-Richey Funeral Home.
