Charles E. Mott, 73 of Yulee, Fl. passed away Wednesday March 4, 2015 AT St. Vincents Medical Center in Jacksonviile, Fl.
Mr. Mott was born in Yulee, Fl. on September 30, 1941, the son of the late Clarence Eugene and Leonie Freeman Mott . He attended Yulee High School graduating in the Class of 1960. Following graduation, he went to work at Terminal Paper Bag Company in Yulee, Fl. and retired in 2000 when the bag company closed. He married the former Patricia Jones in 1966. Mr. Mott was a long time member of the Blackrock Baptist Church.
His parents and his sisters Lillian Dougherty and Myrtle Turner and brother Glenn Mott passed away before him.
Mr. Mott leaves behind his wife, Pat Mott, his son and daughter in law, Chuck and Shannon Mott of Fernandina Beach, Fl., his daughter and son in law Patty and John Jones of Eufaula, Al., his grandson Weston Jones, granddaughters, Payton Jones, Madeline Mott and Katie Mott , his brother Joel Mott of Fernandina Beach and sister Lois Scott of O'Neal.
The family will receive friends from 10;00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at the Blackrock Baptist Church. Services will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Kasper, officiating. The pallbearers will be Rocky Dougherty, David Peeples, Terry Mott, Eugene Mott, Carey Gill and Mark Thornton. Mr. Mott will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery, Fernandina Beach, Fl.
