HONDO, Texas Ð Charles Jarrell, 73, formerly of Ameagle, died Thursday, April
15, 1999, in a San Antonio hospital following a long illness.
Born Oct. 5, 1925, at Ameagle, he was the son of the late Christopher and
Cordelia Hodge Jarrell.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Velda Jarrell; two daughters, Veronica Kay
Desrochers and Kim Rosenthal both of San Antonio; two sons, Jack Mullins of
Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., and Mark Rosenthal of London, England; four sisters,
Beatrice Estep of Land OÕLakes, Fla., Lillian Coyne of Baltimore, Marbra
Butler of Prosperity, and Yvonne Holston of Beckley; three brothers, Ted
Jarrell of Austin, Texas, Edward Jarrel of Ameagle, and George Jarrell of
Merrillville, Ind.
Services will be noon Tuesday in the Armstrong Funeral Home Chapel,
Whitesville, with Pat Lykens, C.L.P., officiating. Burial will follow in
Jarrell-Estep Cemetery, Ameagle.
Graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 4326 of Midway.
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
