Hilda M Allen, age 59 of Maple Ave in Pulaski died August 29 at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since August 8th.
She was born April 3, 1921 at Edwards, N Y, the daughter of Henry and Belie Scofield Reeder. She attended Edwards and Gouverneur schools. She was married March 10, 1944 in Syracuse to Edmund A Allen. She was employed for 16 years at the Pulaski Bowling Center and after her retirement due to ill health, she specialized in making cakes.
She is survi ed by her husband Edmund A Allen, two sons, Wayne A Allen of Mexico and Terry L Allen of Pulaski and 5 grandchildren. Also five sisters Jennie Lapierre of Lacona; Marion Martin of Mexico; Roselie Flether of Phoenix, N Y; Jane Scott of DeKalb Junction; Shirley Absalon of Gouverneur and one brother Ronnie Hart of Texas.
Funeral services were at Foster Hax Funeral Home with the Rev Dolen Morris officiating. Burial in Pulaski Cemetery.
