s/o Anthony and Caliope (Koutrelakos) Bograkos;Nicholas was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran in World War II. He served in the Burma Theater for the duration of World War II. He was shot down twice as a tailgunner in a B17.

He was predeceased by his wife Florence (Nadeau) Bograkos, his parents, two brothers Peter Bograkos, James Bograkos, a sister Nicholet Hayes, and a nephew William Hayes.
