Alden William Reedy was born on 14 April 1938 the son of Ralph Edward Reedy and Velma Virginia Vetters in Shenandoah County, VA.
Alden grew up in Shenandoah County and attended public school at Edinburg. He was member of the last class to graduate from Edinburg High School, Edinburg, VA as a member of the Class of 1959.
Alden was married three times: the first in August 1959 to Mary Elizabeth Wetzel...he was employed at the time as a poultry plant employee. The second marriage was in 1966 to Virginia Ruth Currence when he was employed as a mechanic, and the third marriage was in 1977 to Vivian Marie Morris Peer, the widow of Robert S. Peer. Alden and Vivian were married for 26 years prior to her death in 2004.
Alden had lived in Edinburg, Conicville, Star Tannery, Zepp and was making his home in Luray, Virginia prior to his death.
