Opal A. Hobbs Brewer of Campton, Kentucky, widow of the late Reed Brewer, departed this life Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 81 years and 5 months. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Leona Napier Hobbs born in Lee County, Kentucky on July 7, 1934. She was of the Baptist faith. Opal was a homemaker, wife, and mother. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Brewer and wife, Donna, of Campton, Kentucky; two grandsons, Brad Brewer and Jack Brewer; one brother, Wallace Hobbs of Trenton, Ohio; and a large number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Brewer; one son, Lynn David Brewer; two brothers, Freeland Hobbs and Price Hobbs; and four sisters, Gladys Booth, Eva Boggs, Lois Jean Baker, and Angie Hollon. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
