Michael Russell Kramer, 56, New Oxford R. 1, died Thursday morning at 11:20 a.m. at the Warner Hospital where he had been admitted as a patient on Monday. While in ill health for some time, he had been working the week previous to his death.
Born in Elisabethstadt, Hungary, he was a son of the late Michael and Anna (Gunther) Kramer. A sheet metal worker and farmer, he moved to the New Oxford area from Washington D.C., in 1949.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Berner; a daughter, Michele Kramer, at home; a daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. J. P. Lang, Gibsonia R. 2, Pa., a brother, Fred J. Kramer, Indiana, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Flowers, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. A. J. Wise, Valois, Province of Quebec, Canada, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Fred F. Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford, with the Rev. A. C. Rohrbaugh, pastor of St. Stephen's United Church in Christ, York. Interment in the New Oxford Cemetery.
The pallbearers were George W., Cletus M. and William Milhimes, Albert Dickinson, George D. Wolf and John Snyder.
