Mary B. Browning, 88, Waverly, OH., passed away March 2, 2015, at her residence.

She was born May 13, 1926, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late John Allen and Ellen Fraley Allen.

Surviving are two sons, Charles W. Browning Jr., of Lakeview, OH., Michael David Browning of Waverly, OH., five daughters, Beatrice Shields, Freda Moore, Ellen Osborne, Barbara Mullett all of Piketon, OH., and Betty Brown of Waverly, OH., one brother, Richard Allen of Piketon, OH., four sisters, Bessie Roe and Garnet Roe both of South Shore, Ky., Essie Elliott of Portsmouth, OH., and Lucille
Bishop of East Palestine, OH., thirty-one grandchildren; eighty-eight great-grandchildren and forty-five great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Browning, February 18, 1984, two sons, John W. Browning, William E. Howard, four brothers, Clyde Allen, James Allen, Johnny Allen and Charles Allen, three sisters, Bertha Fout, Doris Moore and Emma Stevens.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Jack Osborne, officiating. Burial will follow in Piketon Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
