Mr. Miller died at 2:30 a.m. Monday in Miners Hospital, Christopher, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Perry County, Jan. 23, 1890, he was the son of John and Philyaina Wetchael Miller.
He was a retired coal miner and last worked at Old Ben No. 11 mine, Coello. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 1124.
His wife, the former Lora Phillips, died in 1950.
He is survived by a brother Charles of Coello.
