Susan Lorraine Casson, (nee Hurless) beloved wife of Clarence Casson, loving mother of the late Ryan Appelt, fond sister of Michael Hurless and William (Linda) Hurless and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Susan worked for many years as a production editor for several publications of Cahners Publishing Company (later Reed-Elsevier) and Chartwell Communications. After her retirement she was a very active member of the Friends of the Des Plaines Library.
Visitation from 3 to 8 pm Sunday, Oct. 13, at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave. Des Plaines, Il. Interment Private. Memorials to Friends of the Des Plaines Library.
