William H. McCullough, a twelve-year-old boy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin McCullough, deceased, died at Katy Ballard's in Highland township July 3 and was buried at Prairie Chapel in Washington township July 4, 1893. Colonel E. H. C. Cavins was guardian for the boy and had succeeded in getting him a good home, with Aunt Katy, but he did not enjoy it long.
