Age 85, of Girard, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Katzman Rohl Platz.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Girard.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Kendig, in December 1983; two brothers, Norman and Elton Platz; three sisters Burtha Nece, Myrtle Struchen and Ruth McKenzie.
She is survived by a son, Ronald A. Kendig of Lake City; a daughter, Norma Foursprings of Girard; and a sister, Doris English of Girard. Three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Burial will be at Girard Cemetery.
