Garner, Linda Raylene, 66, died Thursday. Services 10 a.m. Monday, First Baptist Church, Minco (Huber-Benson, El Reno).

Funeral services for Linda Raylene Garner were held Monday, March 2 at First Baptist Church in Minco with Rev. C. Wayne Childers officiating. Burial was in the Union City Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Garner died Feb. 26, 2015, in Minco. She was born Aug. 20, 1948, in El Reno. Linda was raised in Union City and lived there most of her life. She was a graduate of Union City High School and Ernest Beauty School.

In her career as a licensed beauty operator, she worked at Neva's Beauty Salon in El Reno, owned and operated a beauty shop and ceramic shop and was a hairdresser at Strawberry Fields Senior Apartments.

She loved her family, gardening, canning, crocheting and raising her chickens, two Scotties and love birds. She was a member of Union City United Methodist Church and the Ladies Fire Auxiliary in Union City.

It was said of Linda that "she was a volunteer to anyone, friend to all."

Linda is survived by her husband, Wayne, whom she married on April 7, 1967.

She is also survived by her mother, Erlenne Sanders of Union City; daughter, Ginger Allred of Union City; son, Bill Garner and wife, Melanie of Newcastle; sister, Brenda Miller and husband, Allen of Minco; mother-in-law, Edna Garner Hazel of Mustang; brother-in-law, James Garner and wife, Lynna of Mustang; five grandchildren, Megan Allred, Jake Allred, Gavin Garner, MaCallister Garner and Connor Garner; a niece and six nephews.

Her father, Billy Ray Sanders, preceded her in death.
