WINNFIELD, La. -- Funeral services for Zack R. Rolen, 93, were held at 3 p.m. Friday in Hurricane Grove Baptist church with the Rev. Ernie Yocum officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
Roland [sic Rolen], a retired farmer of the Sikes community, died Wednesday afternoon in a Winnfield nursing home after a lengthy illness.

Zachariah was born to the union of Henry Louis Rolen and Lucinda Elender Jones, who married in Selma, AL on June 18, 1857. He was a retired farmer. He never married.
He was survived by two sisters, Anna Louise Allen of Winnsboro and Ida Lenorer Josephine Parker of Rayville.
