Mrs. Sikes was born to the union of Henry Louis Rolen and Lucinda Elender Jones. She married William Jackson Sikes in Winn Parish on March 1, 1891. He preceded her in death in 1932.
She was survived by three sons, Rev. Jackson Zachary Sikes of Sarepta, William Robert Sikes and O. T. Sikes, both of Baskin; three daughters, Mrs. Holloway Matson McCarty and Mrs. Willis Maloy Antley, both of Crowville, and Mrs. Louis Decatur Stephenson of Baskin; three brothers, Zachariah R. Rolen, Robert Jones Rolen and George Jackson Rolen, all of Winn Parish; two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Allen of Winnsboro and Mrs. Ida Rolen Parker of Crowville; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
