A cowboy preacher, Johnny Joslin grew up in Joslin Valley near Snow, OK. He was the son of Robert Lee "Bob" and Verna Bell Joslin. As a young man, he worked as a cowboy, rode broncs in rodeos, served in the Navy and ranched. He fell in love with June Todd when she came to Joslin Valley to teach in a one-room school. He became a valiant Christian, minster and evangelist whose favorite sermon was titled "Branded for Christ." He influenced thousands of people and was dearly loved and respected. He is survived by his wife, June Joslin; four children, Janice Conley, Jo Hall, Julie Wickersham, and Jerl Joslin; eight grandchildren, Jimmy Conley, Tanya Liston, Johnny Conley, Jeremy Wickersham, Jody Wickersham, Joy Dyer, Jerad Joslin, and Justin Joslin; and 21 great- grandchildren. Funeral Services were held on February 28 at Forest Hill Christian Church in Oklahoma City.
