Judy Hart, 61, passed away Friday, January 30th after a valiant two month battle against cancer. Judy was born on October 24th 1953, in Bakersfield, CA, to Jesse and Helen Bliss. Judy attended East High and graduated from Bakersfield College. While working in the accounting department at Tosco Oil Corporation she met her future husband. They were married on May 1, 1982 in Carmel. They moved to Visalia in 1984 and soon after started a family. Judy's first daughter was born in 1985 and her second daughter in 1991. Judy raised her family and worked many years as a real estate agent. When her girls were grown she went to work for Visalia Unified School District as a resource aid at Divisadero Middle School. Judy loved working with her 7th and 8th grade students setting them on the right track to high school and the real world. In addition to teaching, Judy enjoyed doing for others, baking cakes and brownies, gardening, spoiling her cats, spending time with friends, and visiting her daughters in Santa Barbara. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 4-7PM at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 6:00PM at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield.
