Eunice Poindexter Dunn of Charleston, 81, died of heart failure on Wednesday, September 27, 2000, at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks, with burial in the Crowder Cemetery.

Mrs. Dunn, a homemaker, was born on December 30, 1918, and was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Dunn.

She is survived by six sons, Robert Thomas "Buddy" Dunn of Cul De Sac, Idaho, Donald Dunn of Columbus, Danny Dunn of Lambert, Jimmy Dunn of Mobile, AL, Paul Dunn of Ruidoso, NM, and Ricky Dunn of Charleston; two daughters, Glenda Faye Pruitt of Ruleville and Barbara Nell Smith of Charleston; a sister, Zora Neal of Charleston; 23 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
