"Marion Rollison, 81, retired farmer died about 11 o'clock Sunday night at the home of his son Roy Rollison. In poor health for three years his condiditon had been serious three weeks. Son of Charles and Matilda (Runser)Rollison he was born June 24, 1865 in Hardin County, Ohio. When he was a year old the family came to Worthington, later going to Arkansas. He returned to Worthington in 1929. In 1888 he and Docia Simmons were married and started housekeeping in Arkansas. The funeral was held Wednesday at Prairie Chapel with Rev. P. E. Roll, Pastor of the Christian Church as officant. Songs were sung by Mrs. W.H. Griffith and Mrs. A. N. Imhausen with Mrs. O. R. East at the piano. Burial was at Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were John K. White, Earl McLarren, Roscoe Calvert, Ed Rowe, John Michels and Arvin Brinson. Mr. Rollison leaves seven sons, Abbie Rollison, Bloomfield; Walter Rollison, Lyons; Ree Rollison, Lyons; Roy Rollison and Edgar Rollison, Jasonville; Ben Rollison and Harley Rollison; two daughters, Mrs. Esther Hawks, Highland township and Mrs. Gilbert Maners, Biknell; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren."

Marion was the brother of Charles Perry Rollison, Jr., Ella, Thaddeus and Addison Rollison and half brother of John, Henry, Michael, Jeremiah and Mary Rusher Baker.
