Mickey was a 1984 graduate of Downers Grove South High School and received a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse. Along with being a wonderful and loving homemaker, Mickey worked as an inclusion manager for 13 years at South East Association for Special Parks And Recreation (SEASPAR) in Downers Grove and most recently for the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) in Carol Stream, IL. Mickey was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Naperville and also taught pre-school for the Naperville Park District.
