Virginia Jordan Tripp 70, died Monday, she was a seven year residents of Pahrump and a 20 year residence of Las Vegas.
A homemaker, she was born January 25, 1921. In Burley, Idaho, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin of Pahrump; daughters, Stella Stice and Joyce Dohme, both of Las Vegas; sons, Ronald Thayer of Jordan, Utah. Gary Thayer and Charles Thayer, both of Sandy Utah. And Benny Theobald of San Francisco; sisters, Ruth Newby of Monroe, Utah. And Violet Pulsipher of Salt Lake City; brother, Ross Tripp of Monroe, Utah; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Born in Burley Idaho to Melvin Reynolds Tripp and Stella May Anna (West ) Tripp. She grew up with five siblings, two brothers and three sisters; Grace Lavern, Violet June, Ross Reynolds, Ruth Shirley, her brother LaWayne, Melvin passing, when Virginia was four years old.
She married Edwin H Thayer, together they had five children, three sons and two daughters; Ronald Edwin, Stella May, Gary Melvin, Joyce Colleen and Charles Author. After their divorce In 1945 in Ely Nevada she married Benjamin Grant Theobald. During their twenty three year marriage they lived in Delta Utah and had one son together, Benny G Theobald. “Grant” and Virginia raise their combined six children, farming in Hinckley Utah and running their OK Tire Shop in Delta Utah. After “Grant” died in 1969 she moved to Las Vegas Nevada, marrying, Lou Wiley, divorced, married Edwin R Jordan and move to Pahrump Nevada and helped in raising his youngest two sons, divorcing 10 years later.

Stella May (Clyde) Stice and Joyce Coleen (William “Denny”) Dohme, all of Las Vegas Nevada, Gary Melvin (Shirley Johnson) Thayer, Gunnison, Utah, Charles Arthur Thayer of Sandy, Utah, Benny G Theobald (future son-in-law, Michael Anthony DeVanna) of San Francisco, California. Stepchildren; Rick Jordan Pahrump, Nevada, Julie Van Hoff Tucson Arizona, Zaci Zemptseff, Las Vegas Nevada, Joe Jordan of Idaho, Grace Grundman, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Also survived by her Brother Ross Reynolds (Edith)Tripp Riverton, Utah, Violet June (Charles Clyde) Pulsipher, Murray. Utah, Ruth Shirley Newby, Monroe Utah.
She will truly be missed by all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all who knew her. To her, nothing was more important than her children and keeping the family together.
