Donald Ray Reese, 76, of North Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 23, 2015.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan Weese; son, Donald Weese, Jr. (Sandy); two daughters, Sherry Missey (Dale) and DeAnna Terry (Curtis); siblings, Ronald Weese, Joe Weese (Sheila) and Paula Weese; sister-in-law, Sandra Weese; grandchildren, Mitchell Missey (Angie), Melissa Weaver, Donald R. Weese, III (Jami), Gregory Weese, Amanda Scott, Adam Dean, Chelsea Terry and Kirbi Terry; and great-grandchildren, Elias Weaver, Krystina Anderson, Kaylee Wilson, Kyleigh Wilson, Caitlin Morrison, Caleb Woods and Seth Woods, and several extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Lackey Weese; and a brother, Robert Weese.
Don worked for Schaeffer Manufacturing for forty years. He was a deacon and member of First Baptist Church Sherwood where he was also a choir member. He had served in the US Navy. Don enjoyed riding WaveRunners, boating and loved life on the water. He enjoyed spending time with his family all the time, but especially at Christmas.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday at First Baptist Church in Sherwood.
Burial with military honors will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2015 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery
