She was born the daughter of Leroy and Mae (McEleheny) Dionne in Kankakee, May 5, 1928.
In 1948, Evelyn married Lawrence Love and he passed away in October 1986.
Mrs. Love was employed for 30 years for the YWCA as night care director, worked in the daycare and camp director. She was a member of the Kankakee Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and camping as well as teaching crafts.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Pam (John) LaPorte of Manteno, Larry (Lynn) Love of Watseka and Debbie McPhail of Kankakee; sisters: Doris Reneau of Chebanse and Shirley Saathoff of Bradley; seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother in laws Ambrose Reneau and Don Saathoff, one grandchild Jason Love.
Burial in the Aroma Township Cemetery.
