She graduated from Graham High School and Draughon's Business College in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a retired bookkeeper, beginning her career with Morrison/McKinley hardware company in Graham in the 1940s.
On May 16, 1953, she married Charlie W. Warren in Graham, Texas. They lived in Tyler, Texas for many years. She was a long time member of the Central Baptist Church in Tyler.
She was active in the church and, with her husband, had an intense love for the mission field. They had no chldren. Charlie died July 18, 2003.
After a ravaging battle with Alzheimer Disease, Betty died August 16, 2006 in Graham, Texas. She had been a resident of Graham since 2001.
At time of death she was survived by one sister, Ina Dell Burkett of Graham, Texas; three brothers: Gordon Brown and wife Ona Faye, Dalton Brown and wife Faye, and Kenneth Brown all of Graham, Texas.
In addition to her husband she was prededeased by her parents, William and Bessie Brown; two sisters, Helen and Retta and two brothers, Ray and John.
