Maudie was the daughter of Julius Bogart and Amelia Seim Bogart.
On Feb. 22,1927, she was married to Emmett Reeves in Concordia, Kan. To this union two daughters and one son were born.
She was saved at the Union Hall Baptist Church on Dec. 8, 1971. Her working years. outside the home were spent at the Emergency Hospital, El Dorado Springs and in nursing homes in Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Norah and Mary. Two brothers, Reinold and Randolph. She is survived by Her son Everett and his wife and Vivian Reeves, Raymore Mo. her daughter Fern Blystone, Independence, Mo. Her daughter and her husband, Muriel and Floyd Root, El Dorado Springs; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Allen and Faye Bogart, El Dorado Springs, and Joe and Celia Bogart, Concordia, Kansas; many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday March 13, at the Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Bill Tatom officiating. Musical selections were provided by Thom LaDue Jr. and Lovell Beydler. Interment was in the Harwood cemetery under the direction of the Hackleman and sons funeral home. Pallbearers were Ed Montgomery, Steve Bailey, Don Allen, Rick Bogart, Gerall Bogart and Rusty Bogart. Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Wooldridge, Don Moyer, Michael Payne and Darrin Hoagenson.
