Lucky was the son of Emmett Reeves and Maudie Bogart.
He graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1947. In that same year after graduation, he left for the United States Air Force. Basic training in San Antonio, TX, and from there he was stationed at Belleville,Ill, for the duration of his service. He was honorably discharged in 1950.
Lucky was the father of seven children- John, Della, Everett Jr. " Bud" Nick, Christine, Brenda and Charles.
On Sept. 12, 1969, Lucky married the love of his life, Vivian Root Shaw. They recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Emmett and Maudie Reeves, one sister Guelda Fern Blystone; and one granddaughter, Robin Alexander.
In addition to his wife Vivian, he is survived by one sister Muriel Root and husband, Floyd of Roscoe; seven children- Johnny Reeves, Della Bailey and husband, Steve-Cleveland, Mo; Everett " Bud" Reeves and wife Jennifer-Tiffin; Nick Reeves- Oak Grove; Christine Fisher and husband, Rusty- Archie; Brenda Renshaw- Oak Grove and Charles Shaw and wife Chrissy- Los Angeles,CA. 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends including special friends, Vera and Edward Montgomery- Lone Jack.
