Charleston, W.VA - Larry E. Bivens Sr., 60 of Charleston, died Friday, April 10, 2009.

Born Oct. 12, 1948, in Martinsburg, W. VA., he was a son of Martha Mann Bivens Delauder of Hedgesville, W.Va., and the late Carl Raymond Bivens.

For a number of years he had been a self employed building contractor.He was of Protestant faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by five daughters, Linda Bivens, Kandi Bivens, and Tanya Bivens, all of Martinsburg,jChristina Bivens of Strange Creek, W. VA, and Constance Bivens of Walbac, W.Va.; one sister, Brenda McKissic of Morgantown, W.Va.; one half sister, Bonnie Mason of Martinsburg; two brothers, Carl Bivens of Morgantown, and Kenneth Bivens of Martinsburg; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg, Pa. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Lemasters, Pa.

Viewing will be one hour prior to the services Wednesday in the funeral home.
