Commemorating their Golden Wedding anniversary on March 21st, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Geiser held open house for a host of friends who called throughout the day to offer felicitations and gifts to this venerable pioneer couple.

many being unable to attend sent congratulatory messages by card and letters. Mrs. Rosa Neisus, a sister of Mrs. Geiser, and Louise Hurner of Carlton, Oregon, conveyed their bouquets of Holly and camellia as did Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hobbensiefken and daughter, of Platte Center, who sent a bouquet of daffodils and iris. Mingled with the floral gifts were others composed of roses and carnations. They were also presented a purse of money.

Th e guest table was centered with a lovely angel food cake, adorned with dainty gold leaves, and topped with a miniature bride and groom beneath an umbrella canopy. White tapers in crystal holders tied with golden bows, graced the table.
