Aaron was the son of Jeremiah Sailor and Christine Kimball.

He married Elizabeth Anne Blosser 06 Aug 1842 and fathered 11 children. Ten years after marriage he started preaching. After his death "Betsy"and at least 5 kids moved to Malta Bend, Saline County, Missouri where her brother Henry lived.
