Jacob Kammerzell, 60, Dies in Denver

Jacob Kammerzell, 60, who came to Loveland in 1907 from Frank, Russia, died Friday evening, in Mercy hospital, Denver, where he had been a patient since Oct. 26. Until the time of his illness he had been employed as a carman on the Union Pacific railroad in Denver, since 1927.

He was born June 13, 1887, at Krestof, Frank, Russia, the son of George and Mary Katherine Kammerzell.

After coming to the United States he was naturalized in 1923. He was a member of the Loveland Congregational church, and the carmen's union of Denver.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Katherine Kammerzell; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Yates of Denver and Miss Ida Kammerzell of Johnstown; and two sons, Edward Kammerzell of Johnstown and Jake Kammerzell of Minneapolis, Minn.; and a sister, Mrs. Henry Lesser, Sr. of Odessa, Wash.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Congregational church. Interment in Loveland Burial Park. The arrangements are by Kibbey's.
