Scranton Times - Frank A. Grippo Dies in Hospital - A native of Italy, Frank A. Grippo, 1028 Luke Ave., died last night in State Hospital after a brief illness. He leaves 52 survivors. -- Mr. Grippo resided in this city 65 years. He worked for the Erie Railroad 35 years before his retirement some time ago. Mr. Grippo was a member of St. Rocco's Church, Dunmore. -- Surviving are two sons, William, this city, and Gaetano, Elizabeth, N.J.; four daughters, Mrs. Adeline Donvito, Clarks Summit; Mrs. William Giannetta, this city; Mrs. Dan Gatti, Bristol, Conn., and Mrs. James Murphy, Yonkers, N.Y.; 32 grandchildren and 14 great grand-grandchildren. -- The funeral will be Saturday from the Savino Funeral Home, 155 South Main Ave., with a mass in St. Rocco's Church at a time to be announced. -- Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 P. M. today.

Frank Cortese, deacon. and Rev. William Crotti, sub-deacon. Miss Josephine Fiore was organist and Mrs. Louise Pittack, vocalist. -- Pallbearers: John and Joseph Donvito, Michael and William Giannetta Jr. and Rocco and Frank Grippo. Burial was in the Abingtons. Father Ferrese conducted committal services.
