Thomas Grippo, 59, of 340 John St., Elizabeth, died Saturday in Elizabeth General Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Mrs. Mamie Cantello Grippo.
Born in Scranton, PA., Mr. Grippo was employed by Merck & Co. of Rahway for 25 years. He was a communicant of St. Anthony's R.C. Church.
Surviving also are a son, Frank of Piscataway; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Kopik of Linden, Mrs. Joretta Bruno of Avenel and Miss Linda Grippo at home; a brother, William of Scranton, and three grandchildren.
Arrangements have been completed by the Petrucelli Funeral Home, 232 Christine St., Elizabeth.
