OBITUARY: Funeral of Mrs. Read. Services Held in the Eleventh Ward Chapel on Wednesday Afternoon.

The funeral of Mrs. W. P. Read, who died Saturday afternoon after a brief illness of pneumonia was held in the Eleventh ward chapel Wednesday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery.

The services were presided over by Bishop Robert Morris and those who were called upon to deliver brief addresses over the casket were president John Henry Smith and Elders Joseph S. Wells. Joseph M. Tanner and John M. Knight, who one and all spoke of the life work of decedent and referred to her as a noble woman devoted to her family and friends.

Special musical numbers were rendered by Mrs. Emma Ramsey Morris, Charles E. Pike, and the Ensign, Spencer, Pyper and Whitney quartet.
