STERLING DALLAS BOOSE

Sterling Dallas Boose, 61, Wyomissing, formerly of Hanover, died early Tuesday morning of a heart attack while vacationing at Del Ray beach, Fla.

He was born May 4, 1897 in Carroll County, Md., a son of the late Dallas and Nora Lippy Boose. He was a retired employee of the United Shoe Company, Philadelphia. He was a 32nd degree mason belonging to Conrad B. Day Lodge 843, Philadelphia and the Lu Lu Temple Shrine, Philadelphia. He was also a member of the Hanover Post 2556, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Gettysburg Moose Lodge 1526. He was a former member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church, Hanover.

He was a Corporal in the U.S. Medical Corps in France during World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Corinne Parr Boose; two daughters, Mrs. Dean B. Rohrbaugh, Hanover, and Mrs. Dewey Harner Jr., Philadelphia, three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Eppleman, Arco, NJ., Alver Sprinkle, Westminster, Md.; and two brothers, Ivan Boose, Westminster and Gordon Boose, Warwick, N.Y.

Friends may call Friday night at John H. Fisher funeral home, 3301 Coleman Ave., Philadelphia. The funeral will be Saturday at a time yet to be set. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Philadelphia

BOOSE-SHEELY

Sterling Dallas Boose, of White Hall, and Miss Eva Marie Sheely, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sheely of the same place, were married on Sunday morning at St. John's Lutheran parsonage, by the bride's pastor, Rev. I. M. Lau of Littlestown. They were attended by Miss Naomi Becker a friend of the bride and Ivan Boose, a brother of the groom. The bride wore a gown of white taffeta and a georgette crepe, and a white picture hat. The bridesmaid was attired in a gown of embroidered organdy and a white picture hat. The bride a carried a beautiful bunch of sweet peas and roses, while the bridesmaid wore a corsage bouquet of sweet peas. The ring ceremony of the Evangelical Lutheran Church was used. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the house of the bride's parents. The bride and groom are both employees of the Hanover shoe factory and will reside in Midway for the present. The bride received many useful and handsome presents consisting of linen, cut glass,aluminum, money, etc.

BOOSE-PARR

Miss Corrine A, Parr, Littlestown and Sterling D. Boose, Philadelphia were married on June 23, at 10:30 o'clock in the College Avenue Baptist Church Annapolis, Maryland. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Roger I. Beughauser.

They were attended Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eyler, Westminster, Maryland. The bride was attired in a white mouseline de soil gown and wore a shoulder length veil with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of pick rosebuds and baby's breath. Mrs. Eyler wore a pink mouseline de soul gown and a headband of flowers to match. She carried a bouquet of mixed flowers.

Dinner was served at Sauble's Inn, Taneytown, to the members of the Wedding party.

The newlyweds left on a week's trip to Niagara Falls and Canada. Upon their return a reception will be given at the home of the bride's mother. For the present they will reside at the home of the bride's parents. They will go to house keeping in the near future in Philadelphia.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Annie C. Parr, Littlestown, and is employed at the Windsor Shoe Company, Littlestown. The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Nora Boose, Philadelphia and is a mechanic with the United Shoe Company, Philadelphia
