Enlisted July 7, 1915 at Medicine Hat, Alberta in the 63rd Battalion and served with the 10th Battalion in France. Injured at Vimy Ridge.

Son of Melvin Elisha Alliss and Mary Needham.
George came to Canada with his parents in 1903, and the family was living in the Qu'Appelle district of Saskatchewan by 1906. George applied for homestead entry on SW31-6-9W4, near Etzikom, Alberta, in 1911.
George passed away in the Colonel Belcher hospital.
