Angela Gray, age 65, of Odessa, passed away at Medical Center Hospital on Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was born in Capiatá, Paraguay on Saturday, October 1, 1949. She was a home health provider, an invaluable source of help to many clients.

Angela married and came to the US when she was 25. She and her husband traveled the world (such as Algeria and Spain) before the birth of their daughter, Jennifer. They divorced when Jennifer was only five. Angela went on to raise Jennifer on her own. Strong and independent, she learned to read and write English and worked hard to support herself and her daughter. She was very determined and always accomplished whatever she set her mind to do, obtaining her citizenship in 2001. She valued education and pushed Jennifer to complete High School. Nothing meant more to her, however, than Jennifer and her children. She was a very special “Nana” to her three grandsons and honorary “Nana” to their cousins, who knew they could count on her to cook up something delicious for them. She also enjoyed working in her garden surrounded by plants and flowers.
