Robert Schuck Jr “Schnapps”, age 76 of Hobart/Merrillville passed away on February 8, 2015 at University of Chicago Hospital. He was born on July 24, 1938 to the late Robert and Margaret Schuck Sr. Robert graduated from Merrillville High School (Class of 57). He was employed by US Steel for 42 years as an Instrument Technician and was a member of Local 1014 and served in the National Guard. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially his fishing trips with his friends and our annual trip to Kentucky Lake. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Yvonne (nee Peterson) Schuck his adored children; Michael (Maria) Schuck of Round Lake Beach, IL, Tracy (Scott) Anderson of Hebron, Christopher (Marcy) Schuck of Brownsburg and his eight special grandchildren; Cara, Taylor, and Elizabeth Schuck , Nathan and Blake Anderson and Nolan, Alec and Logan Schuck. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Charlotte Mesich and three nephews.
