Aaron Bennett, white, an employe of a land company of Daytona, was fatally wounded when a load of shot was discharged into his right leg just above the knee, completely shattering the leg. He died on the way to a hospital. His 14 year old son was also taken to the hospital with two pistol shot wounds in both feet. His wounds are not considered serious. The shooting took place in Bennett's home at Clarks, a small settlement on the DeLand road near this city.
