Pearline Faye Barrett, 89, of Moberly passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at The Bluffs in Columbia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly from 10 a.m. until service time at noon with Rev. Kenneth Gerike officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly.

Pearline was born Oct. 4, 1925, to William C. and Clara H. (Rauls) Skaggs in Marquand.

Pearline and Norman Barrett were married on Jan. 27, 1947, and spent 60 years together before he passed away in 2006. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a strong believer in her faith, an avid reader of the bible and a member of several bible studies. She enjoyed needlepoint, quilting and sewing, and was known for her green thumb in her garden where she could make anything grow.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary, two brothers and two sisters.
