Wendell proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. For 43 years, he worked as an Accountant for Dow Chemical. Wendell was a member and Elder of North Central Church of Christ, and a past member of the American Legion. He was always a dedicated father to his son, David, throughout David's illness, and loved all of his children.
Wendell is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Neil & Lisa Dillinger; grandchildren, Jessica Wyatt and Robert Everett Dillinger; great-grandchild, Anslee Wyatt; sister, Janet (George) Bowser; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David W. Dillinger in 2008; brothers, James & Rex Dillinger; and sister, Betty.
