Wendell J. Dillinger, 83, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on May 8, 1931 to Robert and Cleo (Broadstreet) Dillinger in Sheridan, Indiana.

Wendell proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. For 43 years, he worked as an Accountant for Dow Chemical. Wendell was a member and Elder of North Central Church of Christ, and a past member of the American Legion. He was always a dedicated father to his son, David, throughout David's illness, and loved all of his children.

Wendell is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Neil & Lisa Dillinger; grandchildren, Jessica Wyatt and Robert Everett Dillinger; great-grandchild, Anslee Wyatt; sister, Janet (George) Bowser; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David W. Dillinger in 2008; brothers, James & Rex Dillinger; and sister, Betty.
